S550 Metric to Standard Brake Line Adapter

The Brake Line Adapter will allow the common 3/8-24 Inverted Flare 3/16" Brake Line to match up to the M10x1.5 Bubble Flare Brake Line on the S550 Rear Differential Assembly!

It is difficult to find the correct adapter to go from standard brake line sizing to metric brake line sizing, especially on modded and upgraded parts for classic vehicles.  This 3/16" hard brake line has a 3/8-24 Inverted Flare fitting on one end, and an M10x1.5 Bubble Flare fitting on the other end.  There is a 3/8-24 Inverted Flare female to female coupler included in this kit, just in case you need it.  The hard line is roughly 8 inches long, which allows for some shaping to the line if needed.

While there are several vehicles out there with the M10x1.5 Bubble Flare brake line fittings, it is popular to swap the S550 Mustang Rear Carrier Assembly to the F100 from the 60s and 70s, this brake line adapter is to make that swap easier.

End 1: 3/8-24 Inverted Flare, Male, with an 3/8-24 Inverted Flare Female to Female Coupler, just in case

End 2: M10x1.5 Bubble Flare, Male

Brake Line: 3/16" steel, about 8 inches long
