Retaining Washers for Shock Tower Bolts

Easy to install and super helpful retaining washers for those pesky shock tower studs!

The carriage bolts in the top of each shock tower in the 1964-1973 Classic Mustangs (and other Ford vehicles) never seem to stay in place.  These retaining washers are designed to keep the bolts in place while being thin enough to not affect the installation of the Export Brace (if you have one) and the shock cap.  These will work with the factory 5/16" bolts, no need to get longer carriage bolts, use your stock bolts!

Simply slide them over the bolt and let them do their magic!  You can see in the pictures the bolts are positioned and ready for the shock cap.

Fits 5/16" fasteners

These Retaining Washers are designed to work with the 5/16" carriage bolts for shock towers on Classic Mustangs and other Ford vehicles of the same era.  Make sure you have 5/16" bolts before ordering.
